Jumbo Group at iADC Grand Opening

A landmark of design officially launched in Shenzhen.


On 25th November, Manjinghua-International Art Design Center (MJH-iADC) and Bay Area Design College were inaugurated. As a new promising project of MJH Group, iADC, the “1.5 million m2 global life aesthetics complex”, made its official debut with high public attention. As an aesthetics complex integrating culture, creativeness, art and diversified lifestyles, MJH-iADC aim to build better relationship between space and city, becoming a new landmark of Shenzhen City.

Jumbo Group was there to participate in the launch of the iADC Mall, an extremely experiential building with remarkable architectural features, designed by Rocco Yim and Wood Bagot. Inside “La Galleria” area, at the ground floor of the Mall, Jumbo Group is present with two brands: Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors, a huge 290 square meter showroom, the second in Shenzhen and Etro Home Interiors, the first showroom in Shenzhen and in the entire Chinese territory, for a total area of 250 square meters.

The inauguration ceremony was an institutional event that saw the participation of consulates, institutes, associations and institutions. Among the prominent personalities who spoke during the event there were Steve Leung, international interior designer and chairman of International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), Arturo Dell'Acqua Bellavitis, former dean of School of Design, Polytechnic University of Milan, Roberto Cuneo, general manager of global promotion of FederlegnoArredo Eventi (FLA EVENTI) and Robin Fang, Art Director of iADC who introduced the future cooperation between FLAE and MJH-iADC. Eric Yim, Chairman of Design Council of Hong Kong was there to talk about the project as a bridge among the two cities of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.


The opening ceremony was also an academic feast for designers. Design masters delivered their opinions on the significance of iADC on city, industry, and people at the Great Bay Area Forum held on that morning.

The opening ceremony ended with a sea of balloons, carrying the best wishes for iADC. iADC is expected to fuel the engine of Shenzhen industrial economy and become the lead platform of China’s home design design industry and life aesthetics. And probably, the project will be another amazing business opportunity for the Chinese future of Jumbo Group.
