Italian furniture in Foshan

Jumbo Group took part in the event “2018 Chinese Debut of New Italian furniture” organized by Louvre Home Furnishing Group.


Jumbo Group was back to Foshan to take part in the "2018 Chinese Debut of New Italian furniture", also known as "Furniture / Design / Art Cross-border Feast". The special event was organized by Louvre Home Furnishing Group, the most renowned Foshan reseller representing some of the most important brands in the world of classic furniture and fashion design.

For the occasion, 5 designers of some of the most famous Italian brands took the stage to share the inspirations behind the collections presented at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2018. Livio Ballabio, Jumbo Group’s creative director, was one of the selected personalities: during his speech he unveiled the creative processes behind the creation of Jumbo Collection and Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors’ furniture, the Jumbo Group’s brands available at the dealer's showrooms. It was a significant moment to share ideas and suggestions and to set up a new bridge between Italian design and Chinese culture.

During the event, a special exhibition of pieces of the last Salone del Mobile in Milan was set up and the dealer's showrooms were renewed in order to show different settings of the Milanese fair.
The event and the furniture exhibition attracted designers and high-end people from nearly 10 provinces and more than 40 cities from Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Yunnan, Liaoning, Shanghai and Chongqing provinces, as well as the attention and in-depth reports of dozens of media such as Sina Home, NetEase Home, and Pacific Home.


Ms. Chen Guifang, President of Louvre Home Furnishing Group, said in her speech: "From Milan to China, the Louvre brings not only Italian furniture products, but also the exchange of Chinese and Western cultural thoughts. We hope to create not only a creative feast of international furniture, but also a celebration of culture and art.”

Also for Jumbo Group, the event was another important step forward in the process of dialogue and mutual collaboration with the Chinese market.
