The exotic fascinations and the zen mood express their full potential in the Shinto sideboard, in which the influence of the Japanese animist spirituality is expressed with sculptural forms. The rough base in brass casting with antique bronze finish contrasts with the shine of the upper component in gray onyx, created thanks to an innovative technique in the processing of the marble and enriched by refined decorations in gold leaf linked to the theme of bamboo.

Glass, brass and rosewood: an unconventional mix of refined materials for Wallace sideboard. The structure is made of rosewood and, in the edges, carved brass, while the drawers are covered with a bronzed brass foil. The double flap in glass gives access to the internal area upholstered in microfiber while the crossed base in bronzed brass continues in the upper part, all around the piece of furniture, giving stability to the whole.

An evocative piece of furniture that recalls the shape of an ancient chest, like those which were sorted in Kolkata, which was one of the primary commercial centres in India. Embellished by a patinated bronze base, the cabinet is covered with the Maison’s iconic motif and enhanced by decorative handles and details representing the Etro logo.
